Description

Environment:
Distro: Calculate Linux Desktop 17 KDE
Kernel: 4.4.44-calculate
Xorg.conf configuration: default
Video: Intel HD Graphics 530 (integrated)

Steps to reproduce the issue:
xset dpms force standby && sleep 10 && xset dpms force on
xset dpms force suspend && sleep 10 && xset dpms force on
xset dpms force off && sleep 10 && xset dpms force on

The only way to bypass the issue is disabling DPMS or pressing Ctrl-Alt-F1 and Alt-F7 once a display enter into a power safe mode.

Please investigate and fix. Thanks in advance.
