Description

I am using Calculate 10.4 and whenever I try to set Xchat to transparent it instantly quit without saving the changes I made.

when I launch Xchat from the terminal I notice the following errors:

(xchat:17299): Gtk-WARNING **: Unable to locate theme engine in module_path: "clearlooks",

(xchat:17299): Gtk-WARNING **: Unable to locate theme engine in module_path: "clearlooks",

(xchat:17299): Gtk-WARNING **: Unable to locate theme engine in module_path: "clearlooks",

(xchat:17299): Gtk-WARNING **: Unable to locate theme engine in module_path: "crux-engine",

  • (xchat:17299): WARNING **: Invalid borders specified for theme pixmap:
    /home/ca1cu1ate/.themes/Q.d@rkS7UD10/gtk-2.0/Scrollbar/scrollbar_vertical.png,
borders don't fit within the image

I'm assuming that there is a problem with the gtk theme that I am using.

Now when i try to set Xchat to transparent background, and click ok, i get this error:

The program 'xchat' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadImplementation (server does not implement operation)'.
(Details: serial 23565 error_code 17 request_code 139 minor_code 5)
(Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)
