14. Configuring Mail Servers Replication¶
We started to support mail replication with calculate-server 2.0.9.
Definitions¶
Intranet, unlike Internet, is an internal private organization network. Typically, an intranet is an internet in a nutshell, based on using the IP protocol for exchanging and sharing some of the information within the organization.
Mail domain is a set of mailboxes, groups and mailing lists, identified by a single domain name. This name is called the main mail domain name. All mailboxes, groups and mailing lists belonging to the mail domain share a part of the e-mail address, the one after the @ symbol.
Replicating mail servers is used to be able to create mail domains with several mail servers within the intranet .
