Minimal hardware

Verify that your hardware meets the requirements of your Calculate flavour.

Depending on your needs you might manage with less system resources than recommended in the table below. It may yet be possible to install Calculate Linux on your computers - with a result you probably won't like.

Nevertheless, you can run a graphical desktop environment on older or low-end computers. In this case, we recommend installing a desktop environment that uses less RAM and CPU than KDE; XFCE seems a good choice.
