• irc - Enables the IRC backend, based on net-im/libcommuni.
• mysql - Add mySQL Database support
• postgres - Add support for the postgresql database
• purple - Enables the libpurple backend, based on net-im/pidgin.
• sms - Enables the SMS backend, based on app-mobilephone/smstools.
• sqlite - Add support for sqlite - embedded sql database
• test - Enable dependencies and/or preparations necessary to run tests (usually controlled by FEATURES=test but can be toggled independently)
• twitter - Enables the Twitter backend.
