[resolved] "Invalid partition table!" after default install of cld-15.12-x86_64.iso

Hi I just installed Calculate Linux using cld-15.12-x86_64.iso leaving all installation settings as they were on a Dell Latitude E7440 but I get a “Invalid partition table!” message on reboot, any installation/BIOS settings I should change?

Hi,

can you make on the Live CD a

fdisk -l

?

Try to change the partition table to “dos”.

Just a precision : Are there an other system on the laptop ? (Duaboot)

okay all is okay.
No problems
So do you use UEFI ?
If yes, try to reinstall but before, with gparted create a new partition table type GPT.
If no, try to reinstall but before with gparted create a new partition table type DOS.

I think it’s better to make partitions before installation.

I did a reinstall and set partition table type to dos, it reboots fine now
